The event was a tremendous success and we’re already starting the planning for next year’s event!
Welcome to the 12 Hours of Bikar website. The Rotary Club of Greenville SC has presented the Holiday Lights event with the Roper Mountain Science Center for over 20 years. The Club is now adding a second major fundraising project with the 12 Hours of Bikar.
All proceeds will benefit The Rotary Club of Greenville’s projects funded through Rotary Charities Inc., which include EarlyAct FirstKnight, a character education building program for elementary and middle school students, as well as Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, Greenville County Schools Teacher of the Year Awards, Read-to-Me Program, Money Smart Program, Annual College Scholarship Program, local agency grants, and other local and international projects.

The 12 Hours of Bikar is a unique cycling event for the entire family. Unlike most area cycling rides, this ride takes place over a closed loop course.
The Upstate region offers cyclists of all skill levels many choices of events throughout the year. The Rotary Club wanted to offer cyclists a different type of cycling event. Welcome to the inaugural 12 Hours of BIKAR.
